Busy Bee High!
Ding ding ding!!! Schools in! There is one thing I know, “education sells”. Don’t believe me? I have 3 words (student loan debt).Once you have been beekeeping for a while and have a general understanding of the art; you can start offering online courses for beginner beekeepers. You don’t have to be an expert in beekeeping to do this. After beekeeping for a while you will have enough knowledge to help people just starting out. Between hands on experience and info that you can find on “google” you will have plenty of info to put together for a beginner’s class.
When people become interested in things one of the first things that they do is search for info, books and classes on that subject. Udemy.com is a good place to sell or buy courses. Last time I checked there were only about 3 courses on beekeeping period. That is almost an untouched opportunity. I know because I was looking for a course to take. It is any were from $20 to $90 a class. This is a nice way to bring some passive income. Don’t forget to use Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, or even YouTube to promote your class. It still needs to be marketed. You should still build your personal brand. This is a great, easy way to make money beekeeping. Ring, ring, ring, Schools out!
Homework: Start writing an outline for a beginner beekeeping course. You will start to see that there is plenty to offer your students. (You can “google” how to make an outline for an online course) no excuses! Let’s go!!!
